Lock those windows and doors! I’ve told my mom this more times than I can count. She comes from a different generation that supposedly didn’t have to worry about random break-ins. Well, sorry mom, but those days are long gone. We now live in an era of violence and unpredictability. As bad as that sounds, it pretty much sums things up. So now is when you have to ask yourself, what are you doing to stay safe? Maybe you carry pepper spray when out in public, and always remember to lock your car doors immediately after entering the vehicle. This is great! But what about when you at home? Hey, you didn’t actually think you were completely safe and secure in your home did you? Well, unless you live in a castle with guards, you’re probably not. However, that doesn’t mean you can’t take certain measures to make it safe. In this day and age there’s anything from security cameras, to reinforced windows, to online alarm monitoring software.
